2013 Christmas Assistance Program- Santa & Reindeer & Autism... Oh My!

Santa & Reindeer & Autism… Oh My!
Christmas Assistance for Families with Disabled Children

We are excited to announce the details of our 2013 Christmas Program, Santa & Reindeer, & Autism… Oh My!

Christmas Miracles – Adopt-an-Autism-Family

This program is designed specifically for families who have a child with Autism. We will select between 3 & 5 families this Christmas, to receive a Christmas Miracle. We will work to find an organization, group, or an individual to give the family a Christmas to remember. These families will be selected by the TAWL admin team based on the applicant’s story, situation, and the families plan on paying it forward.

Substitute Santa Program

This assistance program will be ran on our Facebook page. Approved children will be posted to our page with their story, their letter to Santa, and some information that will make shopping for them, an easy experience. Our goal is to have all approved children supplied with a filled stocking and four Christmas gifts.

TAWL Christmas Toy Chest

Our 1st Annual Toy Drive is launching this year! More details to come!

Christmas Card Exchange
Everyone loves Christmas cards! This is a program designed to exchange Christmas cards with other families across the US. More details to come!

1st Annual Party at the North Pole
The first annual Party at the North Pole will be held in December (date and time TBA) and will be a family friendly event for the New Mexico Autism Community. Wear your Christmas PJ’s! It will be a great time for all with activities like cookie decorating, a visit from Sensitive Santa, Christmas caroling, Mrs. Clause telling a Christmas Story by the fire, contests, games, door prizes, raffles, face painting, hot chocolate, cookies, milk, and so much more! If interested in sponsoring this event, volunteering, or attending, please send an email to amandaellis@toautismwithlove.org. More details to come!
